Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. Amazon LLC is selling one of the Nubee Temperature Guns for dirt cheap. This is one of the higher-end models with a greater temp range, so I think it's a pretty good deal.
This item is also eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping w/ $35+ Purchase or Free 2-Day Shipping w/ Amazon Prime.

Nubee NUB-8550 Specs:
  • Temperature Range: -50?C ~ 550?C (-58 ?F ~ 1022?F)
  • Accuracy: ?2% or 2?C
  • Distance Spot Ratio: 12:1
  • Emissivity: 0.95
  • Response Time Wavelength: 500ms (8-14)um
  • Repeatability: ?1% or?1?C
  • Resolution: 0.1 ?C or 0.1?F

Any idea why the one with a bigger range is less expensive?

No idea. Amazon's computer system sometimes adjusts prices variably based on activity. If the one model wasn't selling as well, the price could be reduced to get some traffic and move stock.

First one is up to $10.86 now. Amazon megasucks.

In fact, it's changing price when I add to cart - shows $9.55 now, but adds to cart at $11.57.

just bought for $10.42! I bought an inferior one yesterday at Harbor Freight for $26. Haven't opened it yet so will return and won't get hit with 20% restocking fee.

This is a GREAT way to tell if you have any drafts in your house from around Windows or Doors.

Great, are you gonna commit to not shopping there? People in here amaze me...they get insane deals all the time from Amazon and the second Amazon tries to protect themselves from a price mistake or leeched deal, everyone goes crazy and demands it, like they are entitled to it because they sat their fat ass in front of a computer screen and let someone else find a deal.

Amazon could be the greatest improvement to shopping in the past 20 years...it doesn't even make a profit (true story, look it up). They likely spend over a $1000 on my shipping every year, and I know I'm not alone. And when someone says a company with amazing prices and the best customer service ever created "megasucks," it kinda pisses me off!

All this self-entitlement? Why? You sir, are entitled to a kick in the ass.
