How to filter expired deals out from search?

Mammal 417 146 November 9, 2015 at 10:03 PM
Normally I want to see expired deals that I just missed, but when I sort deals out by the rating during the last week, I don't really care about an expired deal that happened in 2009 even if it has a post during the last week. So I couldn't figure out how to filter just in search without filtering them from front page. Alternatively can I search for deals by the date of the first not last post? Thank You!

Hi there,

Yes in fact we can do the things you're looking for - but they only work on the Redesigned version of the Desktop website (since some of these features are new and only work on our new version of search).

First, you can sort by Newest/Oldest (which is the date the thread was created) versus Last Activity (which is last post)

Second, you can check the "Hide Expired Deals" at the bottom of the list (there's an orange BETA flag next to it).

For me, there was a blue banner along the top of the page that said, "We've heard your feedback and are continuing to build a better Slickdeals. Click here to check out the updated site."

It brought me to the redesigned site. Here is the link. http://slickdeals.net/f/8229242-how-to-filter-expired-deals-out-from-search?modern_opt_in=1
