Target is offering an Xbox One for $299 on Black Friday with an additional $60 gift card thrown in: Black Friday Ad [target.com]

If you sign up for a Wedding Registry or a Baby Registry through Target.com [target.com], you will unlock a 15% off coupon good for electronics, entertainment, and other items in-store. To do this, set the date on your registry 6 days ahead from now to avoid denial (or set it to Nov. 25 or 26), add all the different Xbox Ones SKUs to your registry, and wait. To add an Xbox One, browse to it as you normally would on Target.com and instead of "add to cart", hit the "add to registry" button (not visible with AdBlock or its variants). The coupon will unlock under the "Offers" link in your online registry the day of or the day after whatever date you set. Print it out, print out your registry, and pick up an Xbox One on Black Friday at $255 with a $60 gift card automatically thrown in at the register. Smilie

Update: The Wedding Registry and Baby Registry both work online. In order to make it work online, have the Xbox added to your registry as instructed in the paragraph before. Then open up the registry link, scroll to the item listed in your registry, and "add to cart" from within your registry. If you normally browse Target.com and add the Xbox straight to the cart by skipping the registry process, the coupon will not be accepted at checkout.

However, the College Registry still will not work online for console purchases.

Also, use your RedCard or employee discount to take an additional 5% or 10% off.

Disclaimer: While the registry coupons may have worked on Black Friday in the past, Target could disable these from working this year. Aim for this deal, but I suggest purchasing another returnable deal elsewhere as a back-up in case the coupon is disabled for Black Friday.

Can you stack this with the Target Wish List (10%) and the RedCard (5%)?

very slick, but meh actual going to a store especially on Black Friday. I got in on last months Target fiasco, stacked 15% wedding registry coupon on top of the 20% Home/Wedding coupon (before they restricted it from electronics) ended up with (after returning nba2k16) a Madden 1TB for ~$280

It will stack with your RedCard, but the Wish List doesn't work for the Xbox or PS4 if you're already using a registry coupon.

Starting this year, Target does not allow price-protection or price-matching on Black Friday or Thanksgiving deals. You used to be able to buy it days before, go in on Black Friday, and get the difference back. Corporate sent out a memo and posted online that it will not be honored this year.

This is a little off topic but can this trick be used for the Ipad deal as well?

Hmm then why does he mention printing things up? either way it is a good deal, not knocking it.

So if I get the baby registry coupon, can I bring it in to Target on blackfriday to buy an xbox bundle for 15% off? or is this online only?
