A friend of mine has a Dell computer and the LCD monitor that came with it is a 22 inch E228WFP Widescreen Digital Flat Panel. Apparently this person regularly notices some eye irritation (redness, watery eyes) after setting in front of the computer for a few hours. Are there some settings that seem to be best for people with sensitive eyes?
Also make sure its running in its native resolution (1680x1050).
A lot of people may not like the text size, so they change the resolution. This was fine with CRT's, but LCD's need to be at the correct resolution to display crisp images. If the text is too small/large, hold down control, and use the mouse scroll wheel to change font size.
