As a die hard Halo fan, bought Halo 5 last week, it is mediocre. With the new Star Wars movie on the way, I almost feel obliged to jump into SW Battlefront next...and with limited gaming time as a stupid grown up that means I probably won't get to FO4 until late this year/next year. Cool story bro right?

Besides a little halo and wedding planning, I am helping the ol man cut down a dead tree...

What are you nerds up to this weekend?

Dinner with some friends in the city tonight that I secretly want to bail on so I can spend a meaningful amount of time in FO4 as opposed to these crappy little 1-2 hour jaunts that I've been on the last few days.

Saturday, stuff around the house (DIY project for one of my fireplaces, prepping it for a whitewash job and spray painting the fireplace grill cover thingy). Family gathering Saturday night.

Kid bday party Sunday. Food and furniture shopping. TWD, catch up on The Flash, check out Into the Badlands on AMC and FO4 in the evening......crap, will need to prioritize Sunday night.

Fallout 4. And I only recently got Witcher 3 so I haven't finished that yet by any means either.

Probably will make some time and try to go to the movies and watch Spectre though.

PC gamer here though but I'm more a traditional RPG type than a shooter fan though I'm keeping an eye out for MGS:V and will pick it up on sale.

Diablo 3, as always.
Did not yet obtain FO4, it's probably going to be a good, long while.
I have been playing through Beyond Good & Evil HD on PS3 and enjoying that so far. I had it on GCN, but it wasn't the kind of game I was in the mood for at the time.

FO4, cycling, leaf collecting, also doing come recon on a few downed trees at a coworkers to see if it's worth salvaging for firewood this winter. Mid November and I haven't a stick of wood yet procured. This makes me unsettled.

How do you determine this? I have some downed trees in my yard I'm planning to cut up soon, and my GF suggested I save a few bits as firewood (for camping, I have no fireplace).

I can't play Fallout 4 until late December, so you aren't alone. Gaming PC is at home and I'm out of the country for work for a while longer. Working all weekend.

depending where you are in the country, you might not be able to bring wood camping. i know in WI you can't transport firewood over a certain distance and if you are camping at a state park, it has to be from less than 10 miles away. then they have to inspect it and wash it. emerald ash bores are a bitch.

if you are burning it in a fireplace, you'll want to dry it. keep it semi-sheltered and give it 1-2 years to age. trees are like 50%+ water. after they age it gets closer to 20% and will burn better. Unless you want to go through the hassle of kiln drying it.

Well for myself (wood stove burning) I'm just going out to check the downed trees to see if they are rotted or still have good burnable wood. The lady said there are some new downed trees (too green for this season) and some down from a few years ago (hopefully not yet rotted that I could burn this year) Also how knotted up the tree is and how far deep in the woods it is from where I can park the loading truck. If its full of knots or too far in the woods to haul out, I won't bother. I don't mind putting forth a considerable effort for free heat though.

Bioshock 1 is much much better than infinite. I would skip infinite if you have a big back log. Just my opinion..
