Thread Details

Costco has $50 Off for PS4 and Xbox One consoles. I have only seen this deal in flyers they are handing out (picture attached) and in the costco app.

Not sure about the in-store price of the Xbox One, but base price PS4 in store was $329.99, with this flyer (applicable 11/27-11/29):

$329.99 - $50 = $279.99

The PS4 in the store did not come with any games and I was not sure what model of PS4 it was. The only PS4 that shows up online is the Uncharted Bundle with Black Ops and a charging cradle for $399. But if you are like me and have already played through all of the Uncharted games, a trip to your local costco for a $280 PS4 may be worth it.

This is just a possibility, correct? Costco may discount it at regular price so it would come out as $299. $280 for a ps4 is a slick deal.

Perhaps. The price of the PS4 without any games may fluctuate with location, but it is USUALLY below MSRP ($350).

If that's the case, a $230 PS4 is a monstrous deal!

Not bad in my book, honestly most people are selling those nathan drake for 20-30 bucks anyway. This way you can just by the game you want and still save.

Nice but I think you meant Danvers, MA? I used to live there.

When I was in Costco last week, they had the base PS4 no games for 329.99. I will have to see if it is discounted already to double up - although, this probably doesn't beat the Target bundle I already got...

How is this better than the pre-Black Friday deal from Nov. 14th for $299 and a choice of game that Costco just ran?

(Also, how did all of you miss the Target deal that ran for 7 days straight this past week, where you got the Uncharted bundle for $254 before tax. With b2g1 deal on games ranging from $85-$102, depending on how you couponed that part of the deal.)

I specifically like this deal because most of the bundles that come with a game are games that I do not want. It's better then a lot of concurrent BF deals, but is just another choice in the pool of stuff you can get that weekend.

even if you do not like the game, sell it for more than 20 is far too easy.

Most people don't get the employee discount, so that's not a fair comparison.

And the red card isn't worth a hard credit pull to save 3% (I get 2% back with my Fidelity AMEX anywhere). Factoring in credit card bonuses should never be in the final price.
