AT&T iPhone 5 on Verizon?

Hey guys I just had my iPhone 5 unlocked.

It's originally for AT&T, will it now work for PagePlus LTE or Verizon?

Sorry, most likely not. There were separate GSM and CDMA versions, and they support different LTE bands each.

The real way to tell will be to check with the carrier which LTE bands they use.

Negative.

If AT&T has adequate coverage, there are MVNO's that use AT&T's network but cost less. If you need/want to switch to vzw's network, sell it on swappa just deactivate find my iphone, remove it from icloud and wipe it first.

Ya technically, VZW is really phasing out the CDMA, LTE is actually GSM.... I don't think VZW will do it based on IMEI# they know that block is a att phone. OP can always ask and try and when they say no go down the route of selling his phone to get on vzw.

Yeah, but not until 2021 and even that isn't a hard deadline.
