They are not normal price. AFAIK the lowest price ever for both processors.

whoops, I reposted just moments ago. excellent price for a great performing and easily OC processor. newegg price is 169.99 and last time this was FP at about 180. phenomenal deal.

I bought this processor at newegg but couldn't price match since it was below their cost. had to settle for a 20 gc.

happy computing to everybody who picks this bad boy up!

This one of the best price for performance processors. I personally tossed up between this and the fx-8320, usually 20 difference, so to get this processor below the price of its lower offering is excellent.

How does it compare to 4690K for general processing power and gaming?

I have two builds, one with the 8350 and one with 4690k, In cpu heavy games the difference is huge. Like in arma, you can actually play the game on enjoyable settings with the 4690k. Other than that I can't really compare them because I have a 970 in the 4690k build and 760 in 8350. But the 8350 gets the job done and plays most games with 100 fps.

great cpu. runs all my games 60 fps with a decent video card. I run multiple apps at the same time and not much slowdowns. I have 8gb of ram on my rig. love this cpu and fits the bill.

Came here to post this haha. Very solid price, front page for sure. The lowest I've ever seen it was $140 a year ago, and since then Micro center has sold it for $150 which is lower than any online retailer has been selling it. So $129.99 is solid. Thanks OP!

I have a gtx 970 and 16gb ddr3 ram. MY cpu and mobo are old, i7 950 + Asus Sabertooth X58. Wonder if I will see a performance hit going AMD??

Really? 109.00 I've never seen that on BF last year. Are you sure it's the FX-8350? You may be thinking of the FX-8320.
