Which service do I need for torrents? Time warner slapped me on the hand for downloading Big Hero 6 when I own it and wanted it on my kids tablet...

They run these sales every few months... I picked it up earlier in the year and have been very pleased with it.

Siwtched from Private Internet Access to Torguard. They have a lot more servers and give a little bit better speeds. Their tech support isn't as good as PIA though. Overall, good service.

I picked torguard from the last Labor day Sale, so far it's been good. Some servers I do get bad speeds but I just switch to another one. They have stealth servers that are for torrents. The app works pretty good on my Nexus 6. I used it lot for baseball blackouts.

fyi, i've been using Torguard for almost a year... it's hit and miss, the server can max my 50Mb at times, but not often. but the newest issue that's been happening a lot recently, which is a huge one, the server will drop connection at times. it's pretty damn frustrating, if it drops in the middle of a download, the download will continue after, but now it's going directly through your ISP and you're no longer encrypted. your ISP will see and log/track everything.

it's a pain in the ass lately. thinking of trying another service this year.

Did you explain to TWC that you already own Big Hero 6?

Good find, thanks. I have only tested a few servers but so far the speeds are very fast for me. On speedtest.net I get 137.98Mb/s download speed which is close to my limit:

that doesn't matter at all under the current copyright laws. sure, it's stupid, but Time Warmer doesn't care what you have to say. they are required to pass on the dmca notices to the customer.

Really? I thought they would have had an entire customer service department/legal team in place by now whose sole function is to listen to you explain how you bought "Beauty and the Beast" on DVD at the local Goodwill.
