Intended for people who own Bridge 1.0, but Apple doesn't seem to be enforcing it.

Will be interesting to see who can activate it.

Bridge 2.0 came out over a month ago. If you bought it within the last month then you should be able to return it and buy the 2.0 if you really wanted it.

Bought one. Better than dealing with the v1 owner system at Phillips. I own the first bridge anyway so hopefully I'm good. Then off to ebay with the v1 bridge.

Thanks OP.

From what I've been reading unless you really want HomeKit integration it's not worth the upgrade at the moment. Also if you have GE bulbs synced with Hue, apparently they won't work with V2. I personally just picked up the older V1 hub + 2 A19 bulbs from Best Buy for $50.

Price matched to Best Buy so I can get some points on the order. Visa Checkout $20 coupon came in right when I was calling Best Buy, so I got to use that too (I emailed a complaint to Visa because their website crashed two weeks in a row, so they sent a digital gift card instead). Thumbs up.

Thank you - Repped

The link that Philips provided us for the $20 discount never worked. Every week it kept saying that the damn thing was out of stock. This was a great post!

Repped.

Picked this up in store and paid with Apple Pay (Discover) to potentially get an additional 20% cash back.
