Costco pre-black friday is same as black friday - nothing great with their black friday deals.

Currently $3297 on Amazon so grab it before it goes out of stock - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...nkCode=as2

I do not think you will find it anywhere but Costco. it might have been manufactured for Costco and specially for Black Friday.

Nice find. Better than BestBuy Sony $2000.00 for 1080p last month. I will return it and buy this one.

This is most probably the Samsung JU6500 series TV (4k, 60Hz). While a decent TV, it is not top of the line.

I was going to purchase this but decided to hold on. The 75" Sony x850c for $3000 (best buy black friday) is on my list currently, unless there is a deal on Samsung JU7100 series

Same model also at BJ's but is little more costly (Same Series: JU641D

Yep..its a 60hz panel and 120hz ONLY for 4k content. doesn't do 24 for BR either and side angle viewing is only average.

All in all, an average entry 4k panel ...at $1999, I'd probably bite.

It's very comparable to the 6500 series that RTing reviewed earlier:

I bought the Vizio M75-C1 from costco for the same price of $2,400 last week. Is this a samsung better buy? Should I return my vizio for this Samsung?

on rtings.com, Vizio M75-C1 is rated higher than Samsung JU6500 series. The Vizio M65 and Samsung JU6400 are rated next to each other.

It is a wild guess what the 641d Custom Costco version is...JU6400 or JU6500 (ju6500 being most likely)

The Vizio M75 is 120Hz, Samsung is 60Hz.

how does it compare to the Sharp LC-70UH30U- picture wise? That tv had great ratings and was available for 1697 all inclusive. (Instore only at Frys)
(Sharp has stopped manufacturing Panels but that doesnt impact PQ.)

The Sharp UH30U is 120Hz and rated slightly lower than the Vizio. It produces over sharpened upscaled 4k pictures, and thats where it lost some points (as per rtings.com)

I would pick the Vizio 70" over the Sharp 70" (even after the Vizio data mining news).

on avsforums, someone said to pick Samsung ju6000 series over Vizio M series. Dont understand why.

I'd hold on to the M75 .....native 120hz VS 60 on the Sammy (it's a basic entry level 4k panel).

Typically, people will vouch for Samsung over Vizio as quality control and reliability is better BUT with Costco, you'd get 2 yr free warranty anyway so I wouldn't sweat it.

I have a M series Vizio 65" from Dell BF deal last year and no issues.

Where do you see samsung is 60 Hz? I see Motion Rate: 120 does it mean 120 Hz

See notes under 2015 4k panels for Samsung..clever marketing. Sony does it too. For Samsung 4k panel, Motion Rate is divided by 2 which is 60HZ native.

Tied of manufactures shoving down cheap 4k panels with clever marketing. And do realize the whole concept of "you are getting what you paid for" applies here. Thats why it's always the entry level TVs that get discounted during BF and people think they are getting one heck of a deal when in reality, they are sacrificing quality/features but most average consumers nowadays don't care about it ..a dollar saved is a dollar saved.

I'd rather get the 1080p Samsung 75" instead ..I demo'ed that yesterday at Costco and from 12 feet back, there's barely any difference in the 4k/1080p sets.
