Microsoft Store [microsoftstore.com] has the Lenovo IdeaCenter Stick 300 Signature PC Edition for $69 Starting 11/26

MSRP is $149 and generally go for above $99 - $69 is a good price considering it comes with genuine windows with no bloatware.

Intel Atom Z3735F
2GB memory/32GB eMMC
USB 2.0, HDMI, MicroSD

This is great. I've had my eye on one for a while and that's the right price point. Heck, that's cheaper than buying a license to Windows.

don't quote me, but I read in the Kodi forums that using cheap Android setup to run Kodi is a hit or miss depending on firmware support. Much more guaranteed with this imo

no, your TV is still a TV, but your TV can be used as a display for this PC

For the price, I would go for a cheap Chromebox running a Celeron processor. I picked up an Asus box for around $125 and loaded OpenELEC on it with very little trouble.

This is a great price. But these 1 gen ones get pretty bad reviews and they're expected to release gen 2 soon http://liliputing.com/2015/06/int...-2016.html

But this is going on sale for $69...... Do you still think chromebox is better deal? I am still kicking myself for not jumping on that Samsung Series 3 i5 chromebox deal (for $118).... Mad

How can a Chromebox run Kodi when it can't install outside software? I love my Chromebox for other things though.

portability perhaps? I have one of those quad core atom 32gb unbrandeds, but this compact. May be just enough for 1080p streamer. Waiting to hear from some who's used it with plex

I guess, but the tablets are cheaper and are more functional as a stand alone device.

Spec-wise, they're exactly the same.
