I recommend using Berry Boot to run multiple OS off of one SD Card. I have a 32GB card and I run Raspbian, Kodi, RetroPie, etc.

$4 better than the last deal from the same seller.

Had I not picked one up for $16 prorated just last week from Microcenter with Official Pi Case, using a $25 off $50 coupon I'd buy this

Running OSMC for Kodi makes it just as useful if not more useful than my Rokus.

If I am going to use this for Kodi for mainly streaming, does anyone have any input between this and a firestick? Price aside of course.

What do people use these for?

I have one and love it. I use mine in an arcade I built. (really just looking for an excuse to buy another one)

Anyone know where you can pick up a compatible power adapter for cheap?

I'm local to Micro Center but it takes at least an hour round trip to go down there. Would much rather buy this and wait a few days. Thanks!

I have mine running open elec (kodi). it runs pretty good, even streaming through plex. it also works with my TV remote (albeit a Lil slower) due to CEC connection. I have mine wired to ethernet so don't have any lag streaming.

I also have a fire TV stick that has kodi but don't use it as much.

I'd say the pi2 has more options, as you can plug a hard drive to it (so long as it's externally powered), it has 4 USB ports compared to none of the TV stick & there's quite a few other things you can do with it aside from media.

this is a decent price since it comes with a case. I think the pi2 by itself has been $30 or so at microcenter.

Have a few Rokus but no Firestick. Comparing to Roku, I do like the option of being able to do other things besides streaming on the P like run Mame emulations, cameras, etc. Simply load another MicroSD card to run something else.

IF all you want is streaming, I'd probably go with the Firestick but then you'd have to see if all the channels you'd want is available:
