Hi guys,

TigerDirect has another McAfee Multi-Access bundle rebate: MCA-10034 [highspeedbackbone.net]. This rebate is for $10 more than last round and is good for only 2 weeks.

The McAfee Multi-Access bundle rebate is valid 11/22/15 to 12/5/15 12/19/15 (ET). Some of these deals involve other rebates; please check their expiration dates and limits before ordering. On 12/2 the expiration date was changed from 12/5 to 12/19. The old form is available here. [highspeedbackbone.net]

Limit 1 per household. You can only do one of these options. Choose carefully: something better could show up later or everything could go away tomorrow.

These deals are not rebate beginners. If you are not familiar with these particular bundle rebates, please do some reading first. You must activate the subscription online and set up auto-renew with a valid credit card (your first year is included). You also agree to install the software and to remain enrolled in auto-renew for 10 months. Note that "copy of reciept/invoice" means an invoice printed from your TD account, from the "Download PDF Invoice" link in the order shipment email, or requested here. [tigerdirect.com]

Cashback
If you have a Bank of America credit card, check your deals there. You may have a 10%+ offer. Be aware that some offers may only be valid for the first transaction and TD will likely charge you separately for each item in the bundle.

Remember to go through Discover Deals [discovercard.com] for an additional 5% cash back!

Multiple Subscriptions:
It is possible to activate more than one subscription on a McAfee account. Go to the activation page [mcafee.com] like before and use the same email address. It will prompt you for your password on the next page. After that it will ask if you want to use the new code to add an additional subscription to your account, or if you want to use it to extend an existing subscription. Either option is fine, but there are some caveats with extending. After that you will need to turn auto-renew on/on again. Your CC should be on file.

The advantage of extending is that you will end up with a small number of long subscriptions rather than a large number of short subscriptions. This gives you fewer auto-renewals to manage and more time before they charge you. It's also good if you would like to use the software.

Do not extend a particular subscription until the rebate associated with that existing subscription has been approved. The actual waiting period is probably less, but wait to be safe. If an existing subscription is extended without waiting long enough, the auto-renewal information for the existing subscription will never be transmitted to 4MyRebate and you will be denied for "Your Activation code is active but Auto Renewal is not set up." This is difficult to fix.

Fillers
Some free after rebate fillers so you maybe add the $10 off coupon!

I still have two rebates outstanding. MCA-10032 and MCA-10038. Sent the paperwork in earlier in the week. Haven't gotten confirmation that they have been received. Just wondering if I'll be okay to do this one in the mean time.

Sure, but see the wiki to make sure you don't screw anything up when adding subscriptions to your account.

^similar question

if the last rebate I had 8/9 to 11/21, round 2 is not yet approved. Can I still get in on this new rebate and qualify by extending my current mcafee subscription (from the not yet approved rebate) forward?
See wiki. You'll to wait until approved before extending but you can order now. Alternatively you can add another subscription to your account but the old one will probably be approved soon enough that waiting is just fine.

We've still got some time before they close up shop. Hopefully they won't run out of stock.

Thanks for all the hard work bb182.

This might actually be the last McAfee round.

I noticed that TD is now charging tax for NY. I did a little digging and one of the reasons why they might be doing so is because TD has been sold to a company called PCM. There was a little talk about rebates possibly being in jeopardy (as well as TD GCs).

The thread for that can be seen here: http://slickdeals.net/f/8267715-not-a-deal-but-information-on-tigerdirect-sold-to-pcm

P. S. For 10032 and 10038, I opted to register two independent subscriptions, rather than tack them on as extensions. Just seemed cleaner to me. If anyone sees a potential problem with that, please lemme know. Thanks.
