My kids are starting to get into Sherlock Holmes and I thought some of you may like this.

They read it using kindle for computers app.

What a time to be alive.

A decade and a half ago, I paid $100+ for the physical set and was proud of myself for finding a 'good deal'. Now its less than $2 bucks and in your pocket.

Can you imagine what things will be like 15 years from now?

The majority of the stories are public domain, yes. I believe there are a couple stories still that haven't reached that yet. If you pay for these stories, you're basically paying for formatting.

If memory serves me right: Hugh Hefner barely had enough money to get his first edition of PB published and used a Sherlock Holmes story (because it was free) to fill pages.

So who knows? Download these stories and maybe you too can end up an 80 year-old creeper dating/exploiting 20-something starlets...Stick Out Tongue

The books are copyright free at this point. Why is amazon charging for anything. Hi can just download the pdf legally
