I transferred a prescription from RA to CVS and had them match competitor (RA) transfer coupon to get the $25 ECB. Then I transferred the prescription back to RA. A month later, if I transfer it back to CVS, can I again have them match the competitor (RA) prescription transfer coupon on the same prescription? Anyone done that and has some advice? TIA.

I've done this, and it just depends on the store. Some say "No, you already filled this Rx here." Others don't care. At the very least, I would transfer to a different CVS store.

Thanks. Its actually written in their policy that they do. I am not sure if its store's discretion but maybe worth a try taking a printout and trying next time?

Q. What types of pharmacy coupons do you accept?
A. Here are guidelines surrounding pharmacy coupons:

CVS/pharmacy does accept competitor coupon and transfer offers; however, matching or providing incentive for an automatic refill program is strictly prohibited. It is against CVS/pharmacy policy to accept this type of competitor coupon for enrollment in ReadyFill®.
Coupon offers are not valid and must not be honored for prescriptions paid for in whole or in part by state and or federal health care programs. These programs include Medicare, Medicaid and TriCare.
Coupons also are void where prohibited by law. Coupon offers are not valid for prescriptions purchased in the states of AL, NJ and NY, and on any prescription for a controlled dangerous substance in the states of HI and LA.
The gift card received from a coupon offer cannot be used to pay for the same purchase but can be used for future purchases.
CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings, copies or facsimiles of any offer. The original valid coupon must be presented at the time of purchase.

Unfortunately, corporate has seen fit to provide a bit of ambiguity... and I've run into it in store. Their _other_ coupon policy [cvs.com] says this--

Quote :
Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines may be accepted at the discretion of CVS management.
Best approach is to just move on. Find another store.
