I just want to buy a Samsung UN60J6300 for the best possible price. Since I have to pay sales tax anyway on Amazon, is it better to do blk fri or cyber monday? Thanks kids!

Black Friday has better deals for TVs and electronics despite the name of "cyber monday" sounding otherwise. since you're also getting on Amazon, they actually have a TV price match guarantee for 30 days if the price drops on their site or any other retailer on their list. just make sure TV is sold by Amazon. Google the Amazon price match guarantee for more details. so even if Monday gets a lower price, amazon will refund the difference. Smilie

Question: is it better to wait for Superbowl tv sales prices, or give in and buy/enjoy now? Geez I sound cheap!

Haha its okay. I did the same thing when I wanted a Samsung 32". it was $220 last black friday but I missed it so figured I wouldn't pay more than that. waited till super bowl deals, only got to $240. Kept waiting and stayed at $250. eventually bought a different TV for $200 cause I got tired of waiting and stressing. this year, I see the better model of that Samsung TV for $220. and there's even a 49" toshiba for $150. so I couldve got a better deal, but would've had to wait an entire year. your TV is more expensive so the price differences will be higher than 30 to 50 bucks, but TV prices always get lower over time, just depends on how much you want and need it now.

I don't NEED it, but would really like to upgrade! At age 67, my eyesight not as good as when I bought the 42" Samsung 8 years ago! Will save me price of glasses & son can have the 42" for guy cave in basement! Win win if I get the damn thing on Thursday!
