Question about NewEgg rebate and address input wrong on invoice

just123me 5,246 1,103 November 25, 2015 at 06:52 AM
I placed an order with NewEgg like I do a lot of times. This time for some reason, I get a pop-up asking me to select my correct address. This has never happened before and I figured it was to pick the USPS address that is similar. I didn't read close enough so selected the wrong option.

My address is 123 East Main St.
I selected 123 West Main St.

The billing address on the invoice just has 123 Main St.

Do you think if I make a note on my rebate (not software and returnable) I'd be ok or would you just return the item and not chance it?

I called NewEgg and they said they couldn't change the invoice address.

Assuming this is an actual Newegg sponsored rebate, I don't think Velocity would notice or care.

Thanks. I may just give it a try.

I also notice that the past few invoices don't have the 'East' in my street address in billing address but it is in the shipping address and rebates go by bill address. On my billing it has 123 Main Street but shipped to 123 East Main St. I've done nothing different so wonder why this is happening all of a sudden. Looks like I'll be calling Newegg in the morning.
