login to your discover.com account. click on "Rewards" at top, then "Discover Deals". Look for the Walmart.com "ongoing deal". Click through to open a new window that takes you to Walmart. Complete purchase and you will get a 5% bonus for that purchase. It's not immediate... it will show up on your next detailed Discover card statement in the rewards earned section. HTH

Much faster. Already at payment screen. Of course, I don't need to purchase so I'm dumping my cart.

And they are starting to throw HTTP errors again. Looks like Walmart's IT group is still trying to get the systems to scale. They appear to be bouncing/restarting the web and application servers.

Good luck everyone. I'm going to get some sleep. Late on the east coast.

Eventually it will be automatic to use Discover.com to start most online shopping trips. Best Buy, Walmart, Microsoft Store, Sam's Club, Sears, etc. are on there.

It used to be called Shop Discover. They converted it to Discover Deals earlier this year (2015). Shop Discover was better. Had more selection of stores. Still not bad, but not like it used to be. Frown

Good to hear.

I think the scaling problem with retailers this year is that with all the advertising and press coverage around "early Black Friday deals online", the masses finally learned what most SDers have known for at least 4-5 years: some of the best deals can be obtained the Wednesday before Thanksgiving along with the wee-hours of Thanksgiving morning (e.g. - 00:00). I'm guessing most retailers weren't anticipating the number of folks trying to score a deal online to avoid camping out.

Did it through the online app. No problem. Status says processing. Hope it goes through. Don't feel like leaving my house today dealing with Black Friday crowds.

Thanks ! In for 1 ( I think, lol) It kept telling me that my email was already associated with an account and to reset my password. So I just opened up an incognito window and it went through.

My son is 5 and I feel the PS4 and Xbox are too old for him, any game recomendations ?
