Thread Details

I posted this separately because it makes signing up for Ringplus a LOT easier, and I think it applies to all ringplus threads. Especially since it is FREE to switch, and a port is usually $6 and a swap 99 cents.. its a $7 savings Smilie

The free cell service starts Friday at noon PST at www.ringplus.net

Just to recap:

The Black Friday Weekend deal is (1400 min / 1400 text / 1200 MB LTE data) / month FREE. That deal is posted on SD here:

One-Step Switching & Saving: Bringing any active phone from Ting, or any other Sprint MVNO offering multi-carrier services, to RingPlus to start saving money is now easy!

Starting tomorrow, Black Friday, November 27, 2015 at 12 Noon Pacific we stop the headaches of switching your phone service. You will now be able to bring any phone from Ting, or any other Sprint MVNO offering multi-carrier services, directly to RingPlus.net. You will now be able to bring your phone over and port-in your current phone number to RingPlus in one simple step. We will complete the activation process and port your phone number for you.

(Sprint MVNOs offering multi-carrier services include Ting, Google Fi/Project Fi, ROK Mobile, Tempo Telecom, and TracFone.)

RingPlus can handle it all! It’s just a simple one-step switching process you can do on our site at RingPlus.net. There is no need for a second phone, a place holder ESN, or to use any other services.

In addition, you can now effortlessly switch certain active phones from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. For more information, please visit https://discourse.ringplus.net/t/...95?u=karl1.

Cool, I have a Sprint LG Volt on Ting for almost a year, was waiting for one year to deactivate it from Ting(due to Sprint's one year policy). If there is an easy switch from Ting to Ringplus, that will be great, but not sure if any risk to fail the switch and I can no longer release my LG Volt from Ting to join Ringplus next month(the one year line).
