We at RingPlus really feel bad for all those people who John Legere Grinched-away from their service providers to T-Mobile with promises that T-Mobile has the best network. What they get is something less than the best network, and prices that are higher for plans and phones. In an effort to save as many people from that fate, and to save as many people as much money as we can this holdiay season, RingPlus is offering a $201 Top Up to the RingPlus account of anyone who switches from T-Mobile to any RingPlus paid plan on Black Friday. See our plans, and check if your phone is eligible to be activated on RingPlus, at ringplus.net.
The $201 Top Up is exclusively for use on a RingPlus paid plan account, and it cannot be transferred, split, exchanged, swapped, traded, or redeemed for cash, credit, refund, or anything else of value other than RingPlus services. All other RingPlus terms and conditions apply, and can be found at https://ringplus.net/legal/members/

The Offer Starts noon Pacific November 27, 2015 and last till Tuesday Dec 1. noon Pacific
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

This offer is available while supplies last.

Main FAQ / Wiki: http://slickdeals.net/f/7912559-ringplus-is-going-to-try-free-ad-supported-cell-service-again

Lots of info in previous threads. Sample threads:

http://slickdeals.net/f/8315175-ringplus-free-cellular-service-one-step-switching-now-even-easier-to-switch-any-active-phone-from-ting-or-any-other-sprint-multi-carrier-and-get-free-cell-service
http://slickdeals.net/f/8301465-ringplus-free-cell-service-black-friday-weekend-1400-min-1400-text-1200-mb-lte-tethering-free-starts-friday-nov-27-at-12-noon-pst-ends-tuesday-dec-1st-at-12-noon-pst

Detailed steps (thanks to http://slickdeals.net/f/8316531-ringplus-201-top-up-for-switching-from-t-mobile-to-ringplus-paid-plan-starts-noon-pacific-november-27-2015-and-last-till-tuesday-dec-1-noon-pacific?p=79984453#post79984453)

Activate New Line. Add IMEI/ICC ID and fill out billing info. Then click Activate New Account.
Then once the line is established, find the line in the drop down menu among other active lines. Click that, then go to Port In/Out to do the port. Then wait til Tuesday for credit.
All right, check out this JonGasse OfferTM to sweeten the deal:

This is a port-in deal, so make sure you have a T-Mo ph# in service. I think they have a PAYG option that's really cheap?

Porting is free today at 12 noon Pacific Time. Black Friday special! This is the real deal folks, $201 NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

But I do see people hesitating, so check out this JonGasse OfferTM to sweeten the deal

So the first person with more than 100 posts and 10 reps to email me a document full of screenshots of each step for their port in for this offer gets a free clean ESN (a $5 value).

If you miss out on some screenshots, I will ask you to retake them, but take screenshots of every step. Do not censor any information except financial and address. If you have concerns about this, PM me.

If I am not wrong, you will need a clean ESN to actually signup for service. If you don't have a Sprint CDMA phone with you already, you will atleast need a clean ESN as a placeholder until you get your phone.

If you have a phone already with a clean ESN, please don't use this offer and let someone else enjoy it.

People REALLY need to get in on this deal and I know a lot of people are new to this and would appreciate a guide. Your screenshots (I will censor out all personal info) will be used to create a PDF anyone can follow. It would have been great if someone made this already (I left TMo long time ago) but I don't expect anyone to do this for free, so I'll fund the effort in the way I can.

If you have concerns or questions about this offer, PM me.

So is this 10 months of free service if you switch from t-mobile to R+? They take the $19.99 out of the free $201 top up? If I use a 99 cent t-mobile Sim card and open a new account and get a phone number, port that over to R+, they will give me $201 in free top up to use towards the $19.99 plan which is unl/unl/2000 + tether. How is this not the best R+ deal yet? Am I missing anything?

Sprint network is lucky to get 2 bars of service where I live in Wedgwood, but T-Mobile has 5 bars.

Don't trust "coverage maps" before switching, try it out before you jump. Entirely different networks.

if I do this do I also need to get a Sprint phone? I am assuming my T-Mobile gsm Lumia 625 won't work on Ringplus.

Yeah, can I just buy a SIM for this?

There was a future plan where you had to port a number and all I did was use a cheap Sim card from Lycamobile and open a new line, then called them and had it ported over without spending a dime on an actual plan. Wonder if I can do the same, only with a t-mobile Sim instead, which I already have from one of the many 99 cent deals...

NOT missing anything LMAO

I am (and continue to be) a BIG critic of their free plans (that's why I explicitly did not post their free plans so far) because they have a history of yanking them without any reasonable fallback, but these are paid plans people.

These puppies are going to last a lot longer than their free plans (you bet they don't wanna p**s off their paying customers)

I added a JonGasse Offer[sup]TM[/sup] to the wiki to sweeten the deal. Check it out!

Yup! I am the OP but I support this although it weakens my post. I value my connection with you guys very highly.

coverage, coverage, coverage. Grab a Sprint phone from a friend and check out the app called sensorly to see Sprint coverage, around your location before making the transition.

Before jumping in make sure Sprint coverage around your location is good.

If it is, jump in! I have been with these guys for years and it's a great deal.

What are you talking about? This would come out to 10 months of free service. If the 2 free months stick then it would be 12 months of free service with 2GB a month.
