I was in the Walmart in Vienna, VA (Tysons Corner) this afternoon and they had a stack of this Hisense 55" 4k TV on sale for $398 -

Link for reference [walmart.com]

I would guess that this store did not clear all of its inventory of this TV, so they dropped the price another $50 this afternoon. Obviously YMMV based on your local Walmart's inventory and manager's decision.

Hmm I am around the area... but bought it this morning at $448.
Do you think the price could be adjusted without returning the purchase? I already set it up so it's too much hassle if I have to return and re-purchase it just to get the price adjustment...

You only need to bring the receipt in. Don't forget to get the proof first prior heading to the customer service line before they start calling floor associate to come up to verify the price for your adjustment... Good luck!

or buy another one and return it with the receipt for the first one if they won't price adjust.

Seconded. Just take the receipt to the Vienna, VA store (it's off Rte. 7, west of the Tysons mall, near the Dulles Toll Road). The price should be $398 in their system and they should give you $50 in refund without bringing the TV into the store. Obviously this won't work at other Walmart stores unless they have also dropped the price on this TV.

Let us know the outcome. Keep in mind that if they sell out of the TV, they may not honor the lower price. There were about 10 TV's in the stack around 4 pm this afternoon and there were people looking over the stack, which was right at the entrance of the store. The store is open 24 hours if it's convenient for you to go tonight.

I went in last night and the manager there were able to adjust the price for me. No need to bring the item back but only the receipt and he refunded me back the difference.

Seems like only that location offered it at the lower price as I stopped by Fairfax one before heading to yours and they still had it at $448 although there were bunch left-.

It was worth traveling for $50. Thank you very much msgodec. You made my BF experience greater!
