Dell.com [dell.com] will have the Dell Ultrawide Curved Monitor (model u3415w) on sale Cyber Monday, (11/30) @ 7a.m. EST.

Price: $799 (not at all a deal by itself)
includes a $250 Dell Promo e-Gift Card

If you are, or register [dell.com] to be, a Dell Advantage Rewards Member, you can get another 5% back ($40).

If you have a Discover card, make certain you shop through Discover Deals (discover.com), to earn 10% back ($79.90).

Net price: $799 - $79.90 = $719.10 - $200 (assume you can offload eGC @ 80%) = $519.10 + tax.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Interesting. I hopped on the Newegg deal with AMEX yesterday as I couldn't wait any longer, but this is pretty solid from Dell. It's a lot more work but a lot of potential savings especially if you can actually use the $250 gift card yourself.

agreed. I almost pulled the trigger on the newegg deal but stopped since I didn't "need" the display urgently. I was also disappointed in the lack of BF deals on this monitor.

I'm not a fan of offloading the Dell eGC, but I've done it before. This might be the first Dell purchase worth the effort.

This could be an opportunity for others to offload their eGCs. If any SDers have existing eGCs they want to offload, I might be interested in using them on this deal. PM me if you have several hundred in eGC.

thanks

I'm going to get one. helps that I have several eGCs to pay for it with, so the eGC is a wash and I can actually get an effective cost close to $500...

maybe you should learn to use the SD's search function? just an idea.

if you missed then you missed it. some people, like myself, had this promo available to them without twitter.

Great job Dell. If they made this known earlier I would have bought it from them instead of NewEgg.
