Answer to WIFI issues was posted by ajny here:

"I also had issues with the Wifi. I downgraded from driver version v7.17 to v6.30."

Credit bargain_hunter for the easy way to downgrade driver here:

"The driver is already installed on the computer. Simply go into device manager and update driver, then click on the "let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer". There you will see the v6.30 driver. Select that driver, restart the wifi (or reboot the computer) and its all good."

Possible Cons:
1) No IPS screen – means that the screen quality will be dull, bleached out, and hard to see from angles, unless you're looking at it in one very specific spot.
-> Tiny screen kind of forgives view angle.
2) Bad battery life -> typical AMD. If there's a CPU undervolt software for this, it might help a lot
3) Slow Processor -> OK for internet and Office. It's as fast as a first gen Core-i5 mobile CPUs. Also faster than Atom x7 that goes in the cheap version of Surface 3, but power usage is 7 times higher.

Product page:

Key specs worth noting (feel free to add to this list):
Weight: 3.3lbs
No Trackpoint (the red pointer standard on Thinkpad keyboards)

I bought one, looks pretty good for the price. This is currently less expensive than the cheap 32gb netbooks that are everywhere.

Definitely needs a pointing stick to be a thinkpad. Lenovo is watering down the brand.

How does this compare to the acer chromebook that's was on sale for $95 in terms of price/performance ratio? Better/worse/similar investment? The thing I notice most is the 120gb ssd, but that looks like it could be taken care of in the acer by getting a 128gb sd card. Otherwise there's the amd cpu, 4gb ram, and windows 10 pro for an extra $100 minus the cost of the storage differences.

How would this perform playing Dota 2 and CSGO on low settings? How many fps would one expect?
