I know it's not the best deal historically but it's the best deal so far this holiday season.

Edit:

Attention parents! Stepping on these cars with a bare foot hurts a heck of a lot less than stepping on Legos.

I can't even imagine what my reaction would have been to get 50 cars. My head would have exploded from overwhelming joy.

These were $27.74 on Dec 10, 2013, so they might go lower.

Speaking from my memories as a kid getting a monster box of 50 cars was killer. Even when they were the crappy 80's remco cars.

Haha yea, I got one a long time ago for around $25. Considering this is a must-have gift this Christmas for me, I can't gamble for it to go any cheaper for a few dollars.

I was waiting for Matchbox at this price, like they were last year. Grandkids like the trucks & other vehicles. We have so many hot wheels, now. But, I collect some of the non-realcar models. They can have the others.

The Matchbox 50 set is $30. Depends on what you want.

Same parent company now, but the Hot Wheels set has more race cars. The Matchbox set has more utility vehicles like snowplows/police cars/off road vehicles and even has a submarine.

Just looking at them, I think my kid already owns about 30% of them.

I got this set for $25 a few years back. I still haven't given it to my son because he already has so many toys... lol
