Also on Newegg (free remote noted in the item description).

Newegg also has a combo with stand for $10 more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Com...bo.2589842

Just noticed something interesting. When I ordered on Newegg at 7 minutes past midnight PST (forewarned by NVidia it's going to be $149.99 on Cyber Monday), the remote and the Shield came out to be two separate orders in cart and invoice, calculated this way:

Order 1:
Shield: $149.00
Discount: -$49.99
=============
Order 2:
Remote: $49.99

However now if I order the Shield, it's just a single order of $149.99, and presumably you still get the remote because the Shield's description says it's bundled. But I wonder if I will end up getting two remotes since the Shield in my "first" order is supposed to be bundled with one too? Wink Maybe that's why they've changed how the order comes out....

EDIT: And yeah it so happens I got it for $149.00 rather than $149.99... Newegg can't math.

Nah. You'll get one remote. The reason it doesn't show now is because the remote went out of stock on Newegg.

I see. But Newegg is still indeed selling it for 99 cents cheaper than NVidia and Amazon LMAO plus no tax for me with Newegg.

whats the difference between the regular version and the "Pro" version besides the 500gb storage? is that $500 gb storage even worth it because if i understand you can just connect a portable external harddrive to it right? i mean i saw 2 TB WD mypassport for like $80

You are right. Its just the storage. I personally have the 16gb console.
With 10 percent cash back on chase freedom. I think this deal works out to 135 + tax.. thats amazing !

I'd rather have the shield for $100 without the remote...

With the Current Lollipop based os, the micro sd card is treated as internal storage where apps and OBB data can be moved off the 16GB internal drive. The pro version has a 500GB hybrid hdd with the same ability where apps and data also treat it as internal storage. Currently an external hdd through the usb port would not have this capability.
