Found some helpful info here:

"Extended Version History is Dropbox's add-on file recovery feature for Dropbox Pro subscribers. This feature preserves up to one year of file history, and replaces our Packrat unlimited version history add-on.
Existing Pro users who also used the Packrat feature were able to opt in to keep unlimited version history through November 1, 2014. After that date, all Packrat subscribers who had not opted in were automatically transitioned to Extended Version History at the start of their next billing cycle."
From https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/113

Word of warning. This license key will not extend a Pro subscription if you have the Extended Packrat feature enabled.

I currently have the Pro ($99) plus extended file version recovery ($39) plan. When I went to input my license key purchased from Dell it says it cannot be used. After digging through Dropbox FAQ pages it appears that only the very basic $99 plans can be extended and as of right now both Dropbox and Dell are not refunding our purchase. Not sure why Dropbox cannot just give us a $99 credit at this point.....still investigating.

As much as I like Dropbox and think it's the best consumer cloud service, that's how I feel, too. I've been using Dropbox for half a decade and finally broke free earlier this year. Since, I've been using Google Drive at a fraction of the cost. Drive's functionality and interface isn't quite as good, but I'm saving over $100 per year.

How does this work if you already have an active Pro subscription?

Youll get a key that you can store in your account and they'll apply it when your current sub is up!

Can we purchase more than one? And, if so, do these stack on Dropbox?

Nice. Used Discover 10% CB (*2 for 20% on Discover IT) as well for a net of $64 plus the $25 GC as a bonus to Dell.

If stackable on the same account, I'm going to order one or two more to get a few years in!

Not a bad deal, but as someone had mentioned earlier, Amazon Cloud offers better bang for the buck for pure storage. Otherwise, Office 365 Personal comes with Office + 1 TB of storage for $59.99 a year.
