Home Depot [homedepot.com] has these 60W Equivalent Daylight (5000K) A19 Non-Dimmable LED Light Bulb (6-Pack) on sale again for $15.99 through 12/06 with free store pickup.

This is 3 dollars cheaper than the previous deal I saw from Sept.

The pricing on the LED bulb is based upon the average life of the bulb. The Home Depot bulbs in the deal are listed for 20,000 hours. The regular 60 watt equivalent Utilitech LED bulbs at Lowes are rated for 5,000 hours. The .99 Black Friday special bulbs are rated for 2000 hours. The Black Friday sale at Lowes ends 12/2. You can go look at the specification on the bulb there or if you have them, then you can look at the package.

...I showed the lighting manager that the price comes up on their website as a current price for the single pack bulbs, he showed me that the SKU was different than the singles that they have in stock. He did tell me they have 2900 of them coming for BF though.
He also mentioned that you get what you pay for with LED bulbs, for the most part anyways. He said the Utilitech bulbs that they stock are rated at 4.5 year lifespan bulbs, but the BF special ones are 2 or 2.5 year bulbs. I asked how they rated the life of them, he said it is based on being turned on once per day, and then is left on for 3 hours. Maybe y'all knew that before, I didn't

I saw the easy light fixture in store and that thing is a miracle in a box. although I'm hesitant about these white light bulb being too blue. would prefer 4000k range

FYI, If you're looking for a soft white instead, Home Depot has these for $2.50/bulb (instead of $2.66)

I'm new to the LED bulb world but do they last longer than the garbage CFL bulbs? Sick of changing out CFLs all the freaking time.

I got 5 of these from Duke Energy for $10.
Considering the Crees are only $3 each through Duke, I'll stick with the Crees and the better warranty.
Already had one of the TCP's fail after 2 months.
