Shoprite B&M Rayovac 12 count Alkaline AA or AAA batteries on sale for $2. YMMV, I found them at my local shoprite in Northern NJ.

or you can get 9-volt 2 ct pk or D batteries 4 ct pk. This matches the price per battery with the recent Homedepot FP deal.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I'm not aware of that, is it a printable coupon or can be found some where online?

If you have a shoprite card, you should have opened an account at its site and linked that to your card. In the site, there are digital coupons that you can click and apply to your purchase (no need to print, it is linked to your card). In the weekly circular, there is a sign that says "digital coupon $0.50 off". These digital coupons can only be used once for one item. Other digital coupons this week includes the $1.50 off coupon for Nabisco Cookies that makes it $2.50 - $1.50 = $1.00 etc.

Not aware if you can get the D or 9V size from HD so this deal may be worth with the digital coupon for that part.
