What is the deal?
You can bring your current LTE Smartphone over to FreedomPop and activate it entirely free. BYOD Activation on FreedomPop normally costs $19.99/month, but through this link, there will not be a cost.

Downgrading can be performed directly on your online account page or on your phone.

What else comes free?
After activating through BYOD, you will get a one-month free trial of the Unlimited Talk, Text, & 1GB Data Plan, which normally costs $19.99/month. You are always welcome to downgrade to the 100% Free Plan at any time, which consists of 200 Voice Minutes, 500 Text Messages, and 500MB of 4G LTE/3G data.

How do I make free calls & texts?
You'll need to download the FreedomPop Messaging App from the Google Play Store or Apple Store (depending if you have Android or iOS).

Where is the coverage map?
To check out FreedomPop's 4G LTE and 3G coverage network, visit http://www.freedompop.com/coverage3g4g. Be sure to select the 4G LTE and 3G boxes.

What if I need more data while on the Free Plan?
When you approach your monthly data limit, you have the option to either have your data service suspended for the remainder of the month, or continue usage on a pay-as-you-go basis. Each additional megabyte of data used beyond your original allotment will cost $0.02 per MB.

Can I port my existing number over to FreedomPop?
Yes, you can port your number. There is a one-time cost of $9.99 to Port your number.

How do I get even more free data every month?

Tried to register 4 devices which WILL activate on R+. Big "no go" with FP... Glad the Ring Plus special is still going on. More for the money (free).

You're joking, right?
If a customer has ported a phone # and the phone is damaged/lost/etc., and he/she needs to just replace the device, he/she will have to get and activate a separate account and complete the BYOD process over again, with a new phone #? What about the ported phone #? Will FP have to port it again to the new account with new $ charge and additional porting delays???
Doesn't sound like a proper way of doing things, especially given today's technology.

I agree but that is how they handle it. They look at things different for sure. But it is free service. SPRINT NETWORK.........

Unfortunately, because the new phone isn't in our system, you would have to activate it. But we can then assign it to your existing account and you would be able to keep your phone number and account settings.
