I mostly use my points to give Maryha Stewart as gifts to motherinlaw, Sisters-in-law and other family. I save up all my points. I do order W for myself, a couple of subs a year cuz they sell well on eBay after a few years. If you have storage space, it's a great idea. Usually they sell for $5 to $10 an issue to overseas buyers.

Has anyone used that $2 subscription bonus? I'm curious as to whether it's worth it or not and if they come thru in a timely fashion or just back-serve you 6 issues at once.

IIRC they have offered Fortune before...but as for People, Sports Illustrated? Probably not going to see those as a freebie from a source like RewardSurvey. You can get those titles from MyCokeRewards, MagsForMiles, RecycleBank.

Time? Who knows...I'm surprised it's still being published to be honest. Newsweek is no longer a print publication.

I have done the $2 magazines from BlueDolphin (what they offer at the end of RS) and MagazineOutlet.

They didn't back serve me on the subs I chose - but they do auto-renew. I didn't have a good experience with BlueDolphin (cancelled the auto-renew, but they still charged me), so I never used them again, but I did use MagazineOutlet many times, with no problems.

There have been some posts though, where other SD'ers have mentioned getting renewed by MagazineOutlet, despite cancelling the auto-renew. I personally had a good experience with my orders and I don't think I'll be ordering from them again (have many, many years stacked on my subs), but I don't know that I would recommend them either.

With those $2 offers, you just have to read all the fine print...cancel the auto-renew etc Use a pre-paid cc if possible. I don't have the ability to created prepaid/one time use cc, but one thing I did do with MagazineOutlet was to cancel the auto-renew, and then I would change my cc # in their system to a card that is no longer valid.

There are a bunch of threads with the $2 Magazines from MagazineOutlet, here is one (detailed instructions on cancelling the auto-renew via your acct at MagazineOutlet in post # 14).

How do you sell your subscription? And people pay 5-10 for an issue?

I've never heard of this.

OP indicated they sell on eBay. You can search completed listings on eBay to see how well single issues (or whole years) of certain titles are selling.
