Thread Details

I purchased Star Wars Battlefront 3. I purchased the PC edition and installed it on my Dell Laptop. My Dell has 12Gb Ram and 318Gb of free space. The processor is also an Intel i5. The graphics card is also an Intel.

So far, the game has been installed. When I go to play the game, we either get a black screen or if I manage to get through to the game menus and select what game to play, the game then freezes and the PC locks up. Control/Alt/Delete sorts this out, but the game then crashes.

I have checked all the drivers and updates.

Can you please advise any solutions please?

Intel graphics means integrated graphics through the processor, AKA junk. Sounds like your graphics chip is too weak to handle the game, that's why it crashes.

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Agreed. You'll have to tune down your graphics greatly to see if you can even play as much as you want without it crashing. I'd recommend setting the graphic settings to Low to start and then go from there.
