Dell Small Business has the all new Dell XPS 15 9550 with Infinity Display on sale for $1079.99, after applying either of 2 coupons SAVE10%BIZ or SAVE10%. Shipping is free.

EDIT: You can also opt for the i7 version for $1259.99 after coupon. It has a more powerful i7-6700HQ processor, 256GB PCIe SSD (note: you will have an empty 2.5'' slot to put another SSD/HDD in there. Put another Samsung 850 EVO 500GB in there and you will have a beast of a machine)

EDIT 2: Dell is restricting the usage of both promo code. You can still chat with a rep and mention the codes. They will honor the price.

NOTE for those who made the purchase: You can call Dell Customer Care and ask McAfee not to be installed in your computer and receive $50 back. YMMV.

Do not forget to choose Free 1-Year ProSupport with Next Business Day Onsite Service (select this option in Services and Support), which normally cost extra $120.00. You have to be on desktop version of Dell Business site, mobile one wont work. Do not add it to cart right away. Choose "Customize and Buy" first, it will give you options to go through "Configuration, Services and Support, Accessories". Pick the option there.

You can also sign up for Dell Advantage for free to get:
- Free 2nd business day shipping.
- 5% back in rewards on all purchases.

Laptop specs:
- 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6300HQ Quad Core (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz)
- 8GB (2x4GB) 2133Mhz DDR4 Memory
- NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M with 2GB GDDR5
- 1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive + 32GB Solid State Drive
- 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) InfinityEdge, non-touch.
- Dell 56 WHr 3-Cell Lithium-Ion Battery
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit English
- Backlit keyboard.
- Precision touchpad.
- 2 x USB3.0,1 x Thunderbolt 3, 1x HDMI, SD Card Reader.
- 3.9 lbs.

This is a good buy for anyone who is into a compact, yet powerful gaming/work laptop. The config with $1200 ($1080 w/ coupon code) price tag is the sweet spot and you can just replace the SSD and HDD by yourself. RAM is DDR4 and also upgradable (SoDIMM). The Infinity Display on this thing is a beauty, make it a 14 inch form factor laptop while it has a 15.6 inch screen.

Strange it says "most powerful" but it's only an i5

The i7 takes the promo code and is $1260

I was eyeing for this for a long time... MS store has i5/4K touch/256GB version at $1529. Are there any place where I can get i5/1080p non-touch (LIGHTER and cheaper) model without waiting for weeks?

These are the U-series Intel processor which all have TDP of 15W. I doubt the i7 makes any difference compare to the i5. Probably just a tiny bit more performance boost.

I like the 1080p model better as well. 4K at this side is non-sense.

I meant this laptop just came out last month so it is new and takes time to build. If you want it before Christmas though, probably have to jump on different deals.

Nope.

Actually XPS 15 has one of the first i5 quadcore CPU (introduced with skylake). Both i5 and i7 processors are 35-45W quad core processors, and i7 has hyperthreading that can be 20-30% faster than i5 quadcore based on applications.

As I mentioned the RAM is upgradable as is much cheaper and more flexible if you do it by yourself.

no, this is not. XPS 13 got "U", XPS 15 is HQ, which is a beast.
I agree that i7 HQ will give you at most 3% performance boost over i5 HQ.
At the same time, I7 HQ got hyperthreading which will help is some tasks like virtualization or video editing, that require parallelism.
