UPDATE AS OF 12/3/15: I just went through the full Amazon order process and at the "place your order" page the total came out to be $129.59. So I was incorrect when I said this price is $32.87 (YRMV) cheaper than the last front page deal. For me it is $42.80 cheaper! A HUGE difference yet Amazon makes the front page, and Jet does not. I wonder why?
UPDATE 12/7/15: I was able to crack this drive open WITHOUT damage. I started on the bottom opposite side of the power usb 3.0 connectors. I first slide in a credit card then slide in a table knife on the outside of the card and pried that end off. The bottom cover snaps on to many snaps. Then I wiggled the bottom off very slowly. The rest is easy. Remove four screws and pull up and back and the drive will come free. No a single scuff mark to be seen and ready to drop in my tower. Total time, 5 minutes.
The Seagate Backup Plus 5tb External HD Model STDT5000100 has been somewhat popular on SD as of late and this looks to be the lowest price ever .This price MIGHT be for "first" time buyers which means if you have an existing account you might have to create another account. Many people are reporting about the same price. If you have a Jet account I was able to open a third jet account by using a different email address and credit card and get a second one for basically the same price, a bit lower. It looks like jet ties the number of accounts you open to your credit card. My mailing address was the same.

Update on shipping.. Some people said "your orders will get canceled" for using multiple email addresses to buy multiple drives. I ended up ordering three drives using three different email addresses and three DIFFERENT credit cards. All three have shipped
