Great deal if you're switching to TMO! Love what they're doing to the industry!

To be fair, Tmo did give all current customer 3 free months of unlimited data. My wife been watching more youtube lately on her new phone.

Want to elaborate? I switched 2 years ago and I'm happier than ever. The tower expansion they made the last year is insane. Keep in mind where they were (in coverage) only 2-3 years ago.

As usual, with every carrier, you should investigate coverage for your region before comitting, oh yes TMO dont have contracts...

Have you been living on Mars for the past year? Binge on (free Netflix streaming and etc), free music streaming, free international roaming, free calls and LTE from and to Mexican n Canada, 3 months of unlimited data, etc
And best of all, free upgrade from 1gb to 2.5gb. Not that it applies to me as I am on 10g, but I appreciate what tmobile does

been with ATT for 6 years.

time to switch back to tmobile.

i guess the only thing you can do these days is switch carriers every 2 years to take advantage of "new line" deals.

Yes. TMO treats new and potentially new customers better than current ie loyal customers. I know, I've been a TMO customer for nearly a decade. They're good company providing good service esp in our area. But I have felt ignored lately and luckily vzw has enough incentives to make a move. I'll stay with vzw for a few months and see how it goes. I'll move back to tmo as a new customer when they serenade me with appropriate incentives. Then perhaps I will move back.

Have been with tmo since more than 8 yrs and couldn't be happier. Last two yrs especially improvement in coverage and stability is insane..even for current customers they keep on adding every few months like unlimited streaming and now video streaming plus 3 months unlimited LTE..
What more should they do? New customers bring in more revenue which is actually being used to please current customers.don't see anyone else doing that. Sprint tries but keep getting bullied by all three now
Also am not sure att and Verizon do anything special for current customers rather than capping them more and adding more fees like etf policy change and increasing that..

Pretty much all good points.

Note though on the free calling from and to Canada and Mexico, not all customers got that. I'm on the 2-line unlimited LTE plan, and it would cost us $10 a month to add that. Also, they indicated to me that I'd get bumped up to the 14gb of tethering (up from 7gb), but that doesn't appear to have happened.

What more should they do?
they have also done "free" tablets and JOD promotions where loyal customers qualify
