Yes, I realize it has lackluster specs. I also realize that it is really really inexpensive.

Hard Drive Capacity 32 gigabytes
Operating System Windows 10
Processor Brand Intel
Processor Speed 2.16 gigahertz
Processor Model Intel Celeron
System Memory (RAM) 2 gigabytes
Wireless Networking Wireless ??? (Thanks to Gaiageek for pointing out that per Dell specs, it is actually B/G/N)
Screen Size 14 inches
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Sold Out now sold out on eBay too.
Sold Out. at Bestbuy.com.

Based on this [dell.com], the processor is the Intel Celeron N3050 which has a PassMark rating of 734 [cpubenchmark.net].

For reference:
The Intel Atom Z3735E @ 1.33GHz used in the Asus X205TA (a $100 netbook from BF last year) has a PassMark rating of 907 [cpubenchmark.net].
The Intel Celeron N2830 @ 2.16GHz used in the recent Acer Chromebook CB3-111 deals has a PassMark rating of 999 [cpubenchmark.net].
The Intel Core Duo T2400 @ 1.83GHz found in a Thinkpad T60 (circa 2009) scores 796 [cpubenchmark.net].

On the plus side, that Dell page indicates that the Wi-Fi is not "wireless B" (802.11b) but 802.11bgn -- which is what we'd expect for any laptop released in the past few years.

The notebook with plastic chassis sports Intel’s very basic Celeron N3050 dual-core processor paired with only 2GB of system memory, which is insufficient for any serious multitasking. Storage space is very limited, too. The system includes only 32GB of eMMC-based storage, with Windows 10 installation occupying a half of it. Thankfully, you can upgrade both system memory and storage. The computer has an easily removable bottom cover, a single RAM slot with support for up to 4GB memory, and a 2.5-inch storage bay in which you can put a traditional hard drive or a solid state drive. - See more at: http://laptoping.com/specs/produc...WmMEw.dpuf

This compares favorably to the lower level Chromebooks, but includes Windows 10 and one year of Microsoft Office 365.

Here is a $130 with contract, $200 without contract, Chromebook to compare it to: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-...Id=8697009

Better specs for a Chromebook not a Windows 10 machine. I guess you could put more ram if it will take it.

tempted to buy just to compare with the Chromebooks we've got around the house.

I wouldn't pay $1,000 for a dell, and I sure as hell wouldn't pay $100. LMAO

This is basically a 14" version of a ASUS X205 Netbook.

And no mention of what kind of battery/battery life.

YES, its cheap, but.....

It's not a laptop with lackluster specs. This is a tablet, with tablet storage, memory, and processor and specs in every way.

Except instead of a touchscreen they glued on a keyboard and refused to call it a netbook.

It certainly is cheap, but the MSRP is inflated, too.

The specs indicate that it is expandable to 4gb. One slot, DDR3L 1600mhz

However, the rest of the computer isn't up for much more than simple web browsing, email, and Office tasks.
