I have the 40" 6400 right now, I'm pretty sure the specs and features are about the same. I'm using it for a computer monitor, it does 4.2.0 at 60Hz or 4.4.4 at 30Hz. Personally I've gotten used to using it at 4.2.0 so I just leave it at 60Hz most the time and only occasionally notice wonky text.

The panel itself seems a pretty big step down from the more expensive 6500. Blacks are not as black and viewing angles are pretty narrow, especially from above or below (i.e. when I stand up).

Smart hub features are about the same and I simply don't use them. Nearly threw my TV out when I figured out that Samsung INTERRUPTS what you are doing with their own / affiliate adds. Was sitting on my desktop when a Coke or Pepsi add locked in on the side of my screen...

Big downside for me, using it as a monitor is it only seems to do 60Hz at 4k and 1080p... 1440p is stuck at 30Hz so lowering the resolution of games doesn't help get more frames if you are capped at 30Hz.

Asside from that it's sharp and bright and works well for everything I need. Games and movies look fantastic at 4k.

how is this comparing to the 49' LG6430 for $499 a while back?

Bought from BB on BF for $599 but my model only had the F at the end. Call them to pricematch and was told it would take 48hrs to be approved = rebuy + return since it's a saving of $100

yes they should. I have matched other online resellers like Amazon before. don't know why they wouldn't match themselves unless it says online only.

Sorry to thread hog (lol), but does anyone have any hands-on experience with this one? The reviews are decidedly "meh" on this one, with the blacks looking very greyish and poor contrast numbers.

Would appreciate any input!

it says 120hz motion so that means it's 60hz

You'll want a Gtx 960 or higher Nvidia card for Hdmi 2.0.

A 60hz 4K tv is pointless
