Looking for a 47-50" TV

prettycoolguy49 945 113 December 4, 2015 at 12:44 PM
I just lost my 47" Panasonic Plasma that was only 4 years old and lightly used. I don't keep up with all the new TV stuff but I'd rather get a better quality 1080p then a lower end 4K.......am I wrong in this thinking? Will be used exclusively for TV and movies...........no gaming whatsoever. Also not that concerned whether it's a Smart TV or not but I guess most are now anyway. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles(not opposed though), main priority is a solid picture. I want to keep it under 700.00..............thanks!!!

This TV would be going in my living room, but I would not call it well lit. I was reading the review and they said "bad" in dim light areas and it seemed to be weakest in the movie department. Of course I'm not sure what that is since it's been a long time since I've shopped for TV's and examined the pictures. I was planning on going to BB today, and I hope they have this in stock so I can take a look..............appreciate all the responses
