Waiting for all of the folks screaming about it being a .cn tld...yes, we know, it's a Chinese company (like Sony, Panasonic, et al) who had its .com domain taken from it for publishing software that allows users to use their DVDs the way they wish instead of the way the big publishers want to restrict.

Although OP really should have posted it's only a one-year license in the subject...

I am not convinced that they're a "chinese company" entirely. I have used their DVD ripping software for years and remember the days when they had a .com domain. I think that they registered themselves as a chinese company when the lawsuits started (from the US) started pouring in. Purely just a tactic to get away from all the legal troubles.

At any rate, this 1 year deal for their media player is mediocre at best. There's already good quality software out already that does the job nicely. VLC media player is completely free (no 1 year bullsh*t) - doesn't nag you to upgrade whatsoever and is able to play a variety of different video formats.

By the way, love your signature line. Especially that part about the moderators behavior around here.
