The Vizio M50-C1 or the Samsung UN48JU6400FXZA

rrrrkkkk 57 18 December 5, 2015 at 10:17 AM
Folks,

Looking for some advice.

Was able to buy the Vizio M50-C1 at Target for ~$500; and also was able to buy the Samsung UN48JU6400FXZA from BestBuyConfused.

Now the key Q is...which one to pick up from the store, to keep. Do not want to pick up both, and go thru the hassle of opening both the boxes, and returning one of them. So thought that members can pls provide some advice.

My use for this would be a bedroom TV, used for Dish HD, and NetFlix/Amazon 4K/HD streaming

Thank you

just set up our new Vizio M55-c2 last night in our bedroom.... I'm in love. Vizio rocks. Smart apps... eh, so so... but chrome cast and roku solve that.

725 for our M55 at Target. your deal on the 50 is VERY sweet.

between the two...Vizio...now if you had a "6500" series Samsung or better different story- but with a 6400 series- no brainer!

On the Vizio, do the built in smart-apps do 4K stream? Or will i need to buy a ROKU 4?
Thanks

Thanks for reminding me....i too am waiting on that lotto :-)
Perhaps I should wait a couple of days before picking up the Vizio to see if the Lotto yields anything.
Thanks

The only way this is a Hot Deal is if you send me the other TV.

vizio. looked at the 6400 in a couple of places and even Samsung's own demo on it doesn't make you go wow. it's weird

I think,
Visio = China [Lower Quality Control]
Samsung = South Korea, [Much Better Quality Control] Samsung is now shipping some assemblies to Mexico for cheaper labor.
