Slightly more expensive than the Nov deal (by $10), but you are eligible for $48 in SYW rewards points. Looks like most of the typical sears coupons aren't eligible. If you want to buy two $100 gift cards from the gc deal today you can also save some money.

If you have a discover card this is also eligible for 5% quarterly bonus.

Is this easy to install ? I have 1980s Genie in garage wondering if I could just swap them or need special installation ?

Happy

They are easy to install, mine was pretty easy, the instructions clearly show what to do.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you have to ask that question, then you probably can't do it.

Garage door guy here. This is a good machine, similar to the Liftmaster 8550 except it has the multipiece rail.

Guy at work just installed one although maybe the 3/4hp version. He seems to get a few random times when the remote or keyless entry won't operate the door. he then can use the app to make it function...
any suggestions?

His antenna wire (yellow) is probably tucked up too far into the head unit to be 100% effective.

How do you tell how long the deal will last? I would like to see if they give me any points. Esp since it was just my birthday (weirdly, on my birthdya I got an email that said "It's your birthday!" and a link to print, but nothing else in it but celebration graphics, no mention of points, deals or anything -- wtf is that about?)

I loaded a coupon from SYW for 10.00 more dollars back in points for a total of 57.99 back. Also 6% back from ebate$. I used my Sears card and the price dropped to 180.00.

I live in Illinois and Sears is trying to charge me tax for the installation.
I believe that is illegal.
