Cheap, but HQ Studio Monitors/Bookshelf Speakers? Open to suggestions!

Hi I'm pretty new here, but after finding some amazing BF/CM deals on here I am already in love...can't believe I didn't join earlier!

Anyway, I'm looking for a pair of studio monitors/speakers for my room. I mostly listen to rock and R&B but also a good amount of pop. I'm interested in something that won't completely break the bank, $200 is all I have to spend for the pair, but are also high quality. I know they probably won't be audiophile quality, but I'd like to see if there are any good deals out there. Sidenote: I'd prefer if they could be bought in stores, because I'll be moving pretty soon, but online is okay too.

So far, I've been researching Mackie CR4, but they just seem eh. Also looking at the M-Audio's, but I'm just pretty lost. Open to any and all suggestions for a pair for under 200. Thanks!

Depends on your receiver as well.

Check out something like the Polk audio 45b, they are great speakers for $199, check out the Polk audio store on eBay, they have great pricing on new and refurbished stuff with free shipping. I highly suggest Polk considering the price and buying direct from them via eBay

Or I'd jump on these if only using for music

Haha thanks! Right after I posted this I saw the post about the JBLs and jumped on it immediately. They were one of the pairs I was looking at, but couldn't afford at $150 each. I later learned about the Amazon discount code and had that applied as well. No tax in my state, so total was $160. What a steal!!
