Slickdeals iPhone App Users Experiencing Bugs
As you know, we recently rebuilt our iPhone and Android apps from the ground up. This was an essential upgrade because the original apps had become dated, and presented a shaky foundation for future enhancements.
While the Android app relaunch has been a success, the iPhone app has had some issues. Most notably, many of you have experienced a bug that is causing a “No Connection” error, when in fact your connection is intact. We want you all to know how sorry we are, and how disappointed we are in ourselves for having such a critical bug. We also want you to know that we are working intensely to fix the problems. We’ve been working hard to try to recreate the issue, and discover its cause, and we think that we have done just that. We have a new release (v3.0.3) waiting for review from Apple, that we hope will resolve the issue. If for some reason the bug or other bugs remain in v3.0.3, we will continue our work and release new versions as quickly as we can, until the app works as it should.
