Thread Details

I received an email just now which gave me 25 dollars credit towards amazon app and games. expires dece 31st. 2015. check your email. it stated because i did shopping with amazon they are giving this credit.
I think YMMV.

Details, please: did the email contain a gift card/promo code? Or just a link? The more cynical of us would dismiss an e-mail like that as a phishing attempt.

no there was no code, just follow the link and download the app first and with in amazon app you sign in with same amazon id. you got it in your account.

No idea why all the skepticism and down votes. This is a legitimate email Amazon is sending. It's linked to your account so dere's no code.

But srsly do people just down vote as a shitty reflex of sum kind.

I actually got this email too, on two different accounts, so I used the 50 dollars worth of credit to buy myself gems from this game called Unison League. Pretty sweet.

when will the price reduction pop up? i got to one click buy window and see no price reduction. i dare not continue

My Hubby got it on his account but I didn't. Incidentally he never downloads apps from Amazon but I actually download a lot.

I didn't see mine until after I bought each item. However, you can see your credit balance by clicking on the "check your balance" that's about halfway down the offer page. It's after the FAQs but before the Terms & Conditions.

I found my balance. Does that mean even if it showed $5 I still buy by one click and will pay $0 after i buy? Thx

If you show $5 and you buy something for $5 or less then yes, it should work like that. That's how it worked for me. I had $25 and I bought a bunch of stuff, all free.
