I'm curious - what do you SDers do with steam cards?
Do you just sell them ala "pennies from heaven"?
Collect them even though they are for games you don't care about?
Redeem them for gems which you use to craft booster packs? If so, why?
I'm curious.

This game looks really simplistic and stupid. Wish I could get the cards without the game.

To S4gunn, yeah I sell the cards for about 5 cents a piece. It may not seem like much, but for someone who collects games, it's a nice bonus.

I think in the end I'm passing. I'm getting a little fed-up with people making games that are terrible. Go share it with your cousin, don't try to sell it on steam.

Now they are trying to give it away for free Big Grin

Got it, but a lot of work for the game.

I don't see the trading cards in the OP's link. Are they there and I'm missing them? What do you do with them?

I'm not one to grab a game for the cards alone, but I'll - generally - buy cards for games for which I have near-complete sets exclusively from the balance of selling cards from games for which I don't have near-complete sets and other game-stuffs that I've sold on the Steam Market, and then use the bought cards to craft badges during the Steam Sale Events that give you bonuses - generally in the form of additional cards - for crafting badges during them... and, with those Steam Sale Event Carts, will either craft the Steam Sale Event badges or sell the extra cards to continue the awful cycle in prep for the next Steam Sale Event.

In this way, I increase my Steam Rank by the most zero-cost efficient means I currently fathom... a mini-game, in itself. Again, something I don't go out of my way to do... but something I do, (pardon the double meaning) playing with the cards I'm dealt.

I believe you need at least 2h of gameplay for steam cards drops. You could just run it in background. Once u get cards u can either sell them $0.05-$0.15 each depend on games. Or buy missing one and form a badge and gain steam user experience points. With each level on steam you get extra friends slots emoticons, backgrounds and discount coupon for random game.

For everyone asking about cards my take on it is if the game is free then I am getting free money to stack in my steam wallet for a later purchase. We are talking minimum effort to make change that will turn into dollars by selling these cards. I just run them in the background when having my morning coffee or something.

Another thing about reviews is not always games with bad reviews suck, sometimes just wrong group of gamers got them. I played many good games with mixed reviews however this game do suck Big Grin
