No, I bought this for an HTPC as well, but never use it. I switched back to a mouse. This touchpad sucks. Bad battery life, crappy scrolling detection. Can't leave it turned on. There's a reason this is always on sale and ends up on SD. However, SD isn't very good at rooting out deals for products that suck.

I do not recommend.
I installed Kodi a few days ago and have used the Wukong Remote app which quite amazing. It has several modes including touchpad mode

Last time this was posted for a dollar more someone posted about using it with Kodi. I recently loaded Kodi on my Amazon Fire Stick. anyone know if there is a way to use this to navigate on my TV?

i think you are just referring to the app using your phone, right?

or did you get the touchpad to work with the amazon fire tv stick?

I meant i would try out that app which has a touchpad on it. I still havent found a way to use the Dell Touchpad with Kodi. would love to though.

Is this better than the crappy one built into my logitech k400? I'm in the process of building an htpc for a bedroom htpc and want to find a decent way to use it in bed. I do have a spair logitech trackball in my drawer
