So I saw the thread last week for $200 that included the hub, missed it because it ended by the time I went to Best Buy after work.

What function does the hub provide beyond just using the remote itself?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it is Bluetooth to Infrared, so you can use it behind walls and cabinets.

yup inflated. sells for $130 on amazon. so a good deal, just not a 66% off deal as best buy implies.

Ugh, to get or not to get? I want to add one to my Hub, but not at that price...

EDIT: Oh, wait, is this a whole different remote? I thought you could add to the existing Harmony Hub setup.

I am not sure if it is still active but you could get this at Crutchfield for $75 with $25 off 100 Visa checkout

I got one of these but I am not sure you can connect it to the hub.

I'm reasonably certain this will work with all newer Harmony hubs. Everything I've read seems to indicate you can use it stand alone or add the hub.

I have owned several Harmony systems, but I currently have the simple remote with the Smart Control: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Ha...VKXBB7D3FW It comes with the hub, is slim, simple, and if you want more control, or like me lose your remote, it has an iPhone app for free.

I believe that was VISA25, but it expired on 1 Dec. I can't see any others active.

Thanks, $75 would have been awesome if VCO still available. I went ahead and added Crutchfield link to listing. Thanks.

I own several Harmony remotes (old generations) and the features on this make it worth the $100 for me, $75 would be super slick though. I have Cox cable and navigating through their mess of a remote and using the horrible contour box and guide is frustrating. These features might actually make it bearable for me to navigate through the channels. Thanks OP! In 4 1.

So how does this work? Do I just program the remote to my receiver and just use the remote? I'm curious about the bluetooth aspect of this remote since my receiver (and it's IR) is hidden.

Go with the elite remote.. even though bit expensive, its worth every penny in the long run. Check best buy if the old remote buyback offer is still on and then get $100 for old remote to buy elite.
