Okay, this was posted earlier by Brackeen10, so ALL credit goes to them for this deal. However, due to a lot of confusion and misinformation, that deal got a lot of thumbs down and the important information is difficult to find. This is a purposeful report to organize everything pertinent into a single thread because this deal is truly smok'n hot once you add it all up.

There are two promotions that are stack that apply to Samsung and Apple phones. There was confusion because online it is for Samsung only, but in store it is also good on Iphones. I am going to provide the Iphone information below, but it works the same for the new Sansung phones.

Deal #1--
Buy-1-get-1 free Iphone 6s or Iphone 6s plus on ATT Next

Caveats and helpful information for this deal:
1- First line can be an upgrade or a new line of service, but the free line MUST be new
2- You can port to Google Voice for $20, and port back to ATT a day later if are existing
3- The discount is on the Next 24 plan, which is actually broken down into 30 payments
4- The max discount is $650, or $21.67 per free line per month
5- The discount is taken each month, meaning for every month you continue to pay for the first line, you will continue to get $21.67 credited for the second line
6- If you cancel the first line, pay it off, or upgrade early, you will potentially lose the discount on the second line
7-For every 1 phone, you can get 1 free (for instance, I did three)
8-ATT next changes access fee of $15 per line if you have data plan over 15GB
9-You will pay taxes and activation ($15) for each line. I got them to waive activation
10- May take 2-3 billing cycles for the $21.67 credits to hit, but they will back pay when it does

The math works like this:

Iphone 6s16GB - $650/30 months = $21.67

2 lines = Data plan + $15 line access line 1 + $15 line access line 2 + $21.67
4 lines= Data plan + $60 line access + $43.34

Iphone 6s Plus 64GB - $850/30 months = $21.67

2 lines = Data plan + $15 access line 1 + $15 access line 2 + $35
4 lines = Data plan + $60 access + $70

Deal #2--
$300 back with eligible trade-in when adding an Iphone to a ATT Next Plan

Trade in ANY phone worth $10 or more and get $200CB PLUS $100 bill credit for porting in a line. Determine if phone is eligible at buyback.att.com.

Caveats and helpful information for this deal:
1-$200 per line is instant in store when trading phone in
2- Existing customers can either a) add a new line and disconnect existing or b)Use GV trick above
3- The additional $100 is for porting a number in only, but existing customers should be able to use GV trick and port a number back and qualify

The math works like this:

Each phone you trade in = $200 instantly (Can apply in store, or to bill), the $100 is credited to account after port in is completed.

Hypothetical - Bring 4 phones, get $800 credit in store to use to pay off taxes and activation, and apply the remainder to future bills. The other $400 should hit by first bill.

So. Four Iphone 6s = $650x4 = $2600
Two phones free, so you pay $1300
You bring four cheap phones and port numbers in for $1200 back

That makes it $100 out of pocket for four Iphone 6s phones! Yes you pay for the plan and for service, but ATT service is very good. And even if you bring your own phone, you pay the same $15 access charge.

But wait... There's more....

If you sign up for Amex "Plenti", you get 2500 points per new line. Four lines = 10,000 points and 10,000 points= $100....

That ends up being 4 free Iphone 6s phones from ATT!!!! Yes, you have to stick with them for 30 months, but the phones are free. This is like the old days when they subsidized the phones.

That brings it to nothing but tax.

Existing users can take advantage as well, just not quite as good. However, as a "perk", existing customers can get a 40GB plan for $150 from the retention department if you ask.

Hopefully this clears it up a little. This really is an amazing deal at ATT. Please add to and make it even better!!!

Regarding Trade-in Device:
You need to trade in a phone worth at least $10 on AT&T's buyback website. The oldest iphone that qualifies is Iphone 4 8GB but it must be in the working condition without any cracks on the screen.
Check your device's value at: buyback.att.com

Cheapest trade in I used is Razr M which I got on ebay for $50 each. Traded in 2 for myself and 2 for my coworker. Store states trade in need to be done within 14 days of account creation.

Bill credit can take up to 4 months, not like one month specified in OP

Corrected math for OP: Iphone 6s Plus 64GB - $850/30 months = $28.33

In-store or online

Eligible phones:
Any Samsung S6, Note 5
Apple iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus

NOTE: If you dont want to trade-in and have a costco membership, you can do the BOGO at costco and get $215 Rebate for each line. I did it for 2 and will get $430 rebate in the form of Costco Cash Card. You can also sign up for Square trade warranty for $99 which comes with a $50 deductible if you claim vs the $75 if you get it directly from Square Trade.

Yup. Should be able to.

By the way- whoever keeps jumping in and doing drive by thumbs down are stupid. This deal is the best ATT has had on iPhones since they were subsidizing them.

Anybody know how easy it is to sell a phone that is still on the next payment plan? I don't need a new phone because my Nexus 5 is still serving me well, but my wife wants either the s6 or iphone. Thanks in advance.

You don't have to stay with them for 30 months, just pay off the balance of the phone and you are no longer required to stay with them. Unless it's the terms of this deal then that's a 30 month contract.

Never as good as my deal for T-mobile plans, 4 lines unlimited everything (added extra 3gb lte speed in 2 of the lines) my monthly total is $94 +/-$1 consistently.

Sign up for 4 Citibank ATT credit cards, then buy 4 iphones 6s, pay about $36 after tax per phone (Citi paid us $650 per phone).

I get 4 iphones for approximately $144 total with monthly fee of $94 on T-mobile.

I think your game is harder to work with as it is for long term 2 years compare to using Citibank and T-mobile plan.

He has to stay with them for 30 months else those free phones won't be free since the next plan would stop if you quit after payoff which makes this deal hard to break even since ATT's monthly charge is much higher compare to other services such as t-mobile Spring or some other 3rd party prepaid services.

T-mobile and Sprint are awful in Tulsa. Seriously awful. My only two legit choices are ATT and Verizon or a MNVO for them. Sounds like a slick deal for you though.

ATT is rock solid. I just thought I would never upgrade my kids phones though until this deal came along. Costs me $100 more than I pay now, but I got six iPhone 6s Plus 64GB phones. A little greedy, but worth it.

"6- If you cancel the first line, pay it off, or upgrade early, you will potentially lose the discount on the second line"

Can you cancel the second line or do both have to stay active for 30 months?

This is even worse if both have to remain active and it's even worse that 24 month contracts of old.

<-- True statement. Although, my monthly doesn't seem that crazy to me. Six lines sharing 40GB is $230 for my family. Service is great too.

I am getting $5200 worth of phones for $2500 with this promotion. Yes it's spread out over time, but I don't need another $900 phone a year from now.

You estimate that you got those deals cheap, but you aren't look at the long term which is the monthly fees. I'm just giving you a heads up, since you can't consider those phones to be free because the high price of their plan are somewhat paying for those phones.

I think there are 3rd party prepaid providers who uses ATT network, which will help people who have to use ATT network rather than ATT plans.

I remember those 24 month contracts fondly. Now you have to lease or pay full price for iPhones. On this deal, you pay full price on one phone over 30 months, and get the second free. Plus potentially $300+ more back per phone you transfer.

Four iPhone 6s 16g cost $2600 spread out over 30 payments, which is about $86. On this deal you only pay $43 a month AND you get $1200 back for porting in and creating new lines. That makes the phones essentially free. You just pay for the plan.

If your plan is at least 15GB shared data, then you just pay for the pool +$15 per phone.

Maybe not t-mobile good, but pretty strong for ATT.
