Same deal as previous years. Run Tcpauto.exe, fill out all your personal info and then hit the close button. It will then open a screen offering $5 price drop from the already low price. Here is the download link for the cd .iso file. I don't think I am breaking any law by passing along the cd. It is clearly stated on the back cover to do so. Sorry if repost, searched previous to posting and got no results.

This deal includes 5 federal e-files and one state download but NO state e-file. You can print and mail the state return for free or pay $19.95 within the software to e-file state (except NY is free).

See other download deal if you want state e-file included for a discounted price.

To get $5 off:
Run tcauto.exe, fill out all your personal info and then hit the X close button. It will then open a "Wait, come back!" screen offering $5 price drop from the already low price.

You can use 7-Zip [7-zip.org] to extract the contents of the ISO. There can be no spaces in the path name. Desktop is not good as there are spaces in the path. Try extracting it to the root directory of your C:\ drive.

The $5 coupon is only offered one time, the first time. If you missed it, you can restore the offer by running regedit and browsing to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
Look for GoDirect and delete that entry.

For Premium+State version $14.95:
Start to purchase Deluxe+State for $9.95 (after $5 off as shown above), but before hitting the place order button it will offer an upgrade to Premium+State for $5 more ($14.95).

Download at your own risk. Please read this thread fully.

Alternate method to restore the $5 off offer:

On Windows - System Restore to a previous restore point, rerun tcauto.exe from the folder. Choose version, enter information, click X to close the window - offer reappears. Click YES this time.

Someone else mentioned creating a new user, but a restore did the job.

If you already have a disc downloaded from elsewhere or one you received in the mail, you can simply replace the application.xml file with the one posted at post #38 here: http://slickdeals.net/f/8367909-h-r-block-deluxe-2015-4-95-deluxe-state-9-95-premium-state-14-95-all-include-e-file?p=80529415#post80529415

So if it's $19.95, how much is that a discount for federal/state over the regular price?

Hey, I just got this deal for $9.95 just like asinclado said. I was getting it for $14.95 and I entered my personal info. Then I closed it and it offered another $5.00 off. Sweet. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting this. I assume they will be smart this year like last year and make the free version truly limited.

Sorry about that, I am not very knowledgeable with files hosting. I just searched file hosting and selected the first one I found. Maybe someone who knows can jump in and help with that.
