Virgin Mobile - Nokia Lumia 635 4G with 1GB RAM 8GB $39 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/virgi...4831029.p? DEAD

Boost Lumia 635 back for $39 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/boost...7970003.p?

I have all three and the LG Tribute 2 does not have native tether menu. (see wiki to unlock tether menu) Feel free to add to wiki any tips or tricks. Will try to update this every week as needed.

I have both LG tribute2 and MoteE. I personally feel MOTOE is a better deal if you are going to pay the same price. I paid $19 for Tribute during BF .

I snagged a VOLT on BF 2014 for $30. Been using it for a year on RP and have no complaints, except the rear selfie camera. I can't seem to find a phone under $100 or even close to $100 that is a significant upgrade. Any suggestions from you PROS?? $150 or less and would like 2gb internal, 5mp rear cam and 8mp front(or better).

BF deals are going to be hard to beat but for convenience and price Best Buy is my best bet. I have a Nexus 5 and Nexus 6, got the Nexus 5 SIM from R+ and the Nexus 6 SIM came from this thread for $3 at BB http://slickdeals.net/f/8326353-ringplus-compatible-sprint-sim-simglw426c-card-bestbuy-2-99-b-m-only?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Someone even got the Nexus 5X on Ringplus https://discourse.ringplus.net/t/...gplus/8593

I'm not likely to root my Tribute 2 for tether but it's a slick little phone and I didn't expect it to go on sale so soon.

I am not techie at all so wondering if anyone can give guidance-

Looking at getting phone for 9 year old daughter, do not need any bells and whistles, just something mostly in case of emergency and can have a few pre-programmed numbers that she can call out and/or text to. Seems like Ringplus could be a good option, and obviously don't want to spend much on the phone with potential for loss/damage.

But I'm not understanding how this would work if I bought one of these $39 phones from Best Buy. Normally they have the activation directions in the package when you buy the phone correct? Would we bypass that and do it all thru Ringplus? The phones Ringplus has on the site are pricier than I would like esp with $18 shipping.

I'm just generally confused about the process of getting set up.

you can basically have any sprint-compatible phone that is clear of the financial eligiblity check (very rare for 2nd hand phones to pass this) work on Ringplus. I got an HTC one m9 on it.

That is the tribute 1, it only has 4GB storage. But yes, it is compatible with RP but I wouldn't recommend it due to the low storage capacit

OK.. So here are the HOW TO ACTIVATE A SPRINT/MVNO *PRE-PAID* (NEW) PHONE ON RING+ :

a) Buy said phone from WM/BB/Anywhere/Web....

b) DO NOT TURN THE PHONE ON (yet).

c) From the phone box itself, enter the IMEI (Phone ID) and ICCID (LTE SIM ID) into the Ring+ system, to sign up under that phone for Ring+ service.

d) ONLY after you have successfully registered for the Ring+ service, with that phone, should you turn the phone ON.

e) Run a PRL update etc, on the phone.

f) Enjoy (as possible) free Sprint service.

Will a Kmart PM to Best Buy's $39.99 Moto E invalidate the SWYR points?
